NiKem Research is developing its in vivo pharmacology services
NiKem Research has in house facilities to support our rodent pharmacokinetics but now also to implement in vivo pharmacology models, selected on the basis of their broad appeal across many therapeutic targets and areas.
The Irwin screen is offered to help clients understand the effect of their compound on centrally mediated behaviours. Other general behavioural models for profiling compounds such as rotarod can be established, please enquire.
PD or PK/PD models are offered to help clients understand the effect of exposure of their molecule on relevant biomarkers. Analysis of samples can either be solely for biomarker for a full PK/PD relationship. An example of this approach using inflammatory biomarkers is shown in our 2010 Catalogue.
